Startup Village 2021 — Connected Digital Visitor Journey
Video 1
Video 2
Description
An integrated visitor journey that connected an AR quest, interactive 3D content and a platform game within a wider 11-activation event experience. Multiple components and partners had to feel coherent to visitors and work together through end-to-end and on-site testing.
Stand Activations
"Brick" Art Object + NFT · LIBERTILE x GPB
Created with industrial designer Mikhail Tsaturyan (Libertile) in GPB Space style from recycled bank cards — symbolising the transition from physical cards to digital solutions. Exists as both a physical installation and a digital asset backed by an NFT token. Post-event, pieces were placed in Aquamarin and Oasis business centres.
"Elen" Voice AI Assistant · with EORA
A virtual voice assistant designed to answer questions about topics ranging from the digital rouble and virtual cards to NFTs and tokenisation. It combined speech synthesis and recognition, free-text question classification and lip-synchronisation for the avatar.
AR Quest · 17 UN SDGs · with ArPoint
Visitors downloaded the ArPoint-developed mobile app and scanned QR markers hidden across partner stands. Each marker displayed one of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals in AR — a cube appearing on screen with special effects. No time limit; prizes awarded at the Gazprombank stand upon completion.
Wearable Payment Devices · with Mastercard
Six contactless payment solutions were launched across watches, bands, rings and other wearable formats, creating a broad set of customer-facing payment options.
Interactive 3D City Map + Platformer Game · with ArPoint
A living animated 3D city model on a touch table — cars on roads, people in parks, windmills turning. Tapping red "pins" above city infrastructure objects triggered animated videos showing how Gazprombank finances each element. Complemented by a robot platformer game at the stand.
Card & Badge Recycling · with Sobirator & Wallet
A collection point for unused plastic bank cards and event badges for immediate post-event recycling — organised jointly with the Sobirator recycling project and the Wallet app.
VR Art Gallery · with Immergity
A virtual gallery of Gazprombank's corporate art collection — the only corporate collection in Russia. Developed with Immergity, a digital platform and content studio.
"VR Journey Inside a Painting" · with Alexander Sploshnov
An immersive VR experience by director and CG/VFX artist Alexander Sploshnov. The work "Unthinkable Impulse" was adapted specifically for Gazprombank, placing visitors inside a living digital artwork in real time.
Neuromarketing Research · with FastTest
Five-minute sessions recording visitors' psycho-emotional reactions to the virtual art exhibition experience using biometric and behavioural tracking technology.
Solar Module · Watts Battery
A smart, silent, eco-friendly energy storage device powered by solar panels or the grid — managed via app. At the stand, the module powered a branded micromarket, demonstrating sustainable energy in action.
Space Food Micromarket · with Briskly
A branded contactless micro-market where visitors could purchase space food for a symbolic one rouble, providing a live demonstration of Gazprombank's payment technology.
